From the moment I met Jess, I knew there was something special about her. She was gorgeous and sweet and outgoing, yes, but it was more than that. I couldn’t exactly put my finger on what it was at the time, but I knew there was something special about her.

She was dating my boyfriend’s friend Jeff, and over the next few months, we watched them fall madly in love with each other. Jess’ was wrapped around his finger from day one. And all of Jeff’s friends said they had never seen him look at any one the way he looked at Jess. Anyone could see these two were made for each other and there was no stopping this destiny.

Over the next few years as Jeff went through training to be a Marine Corps Officer, their relationship only got stronger. And I began to see what was so special about Jess. Her beauty was in her strength. Her strength to support, encourage, and love this driven and ambitious man. Her beauty was also in her spirit. Her ability to make everyone around her smile no matter the occasion.

Their wedding on March 18, 2017 was absolutely perfect. Jess was the most joyful bride I have ever seen. It seemed as if the entire day was just one big party to her. The way it should be. She and Jeff were having the time of her lives. Their rustic barn venue was incredible and so true to their personalities. And all of their friends and loved ones were there to witness these two best friends promise to spend their lives together. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

And now they are just a few weeks away from welcoming a beautiful baby girl into the world. There is no doubt that little Kimber Specht is going to be just as beautiful and strong and full of spirit as her sweet momma.

Jeff and Jess, I’m so privileged to have watched your love story unfold and capture some of your life’s biggest milestones. You two are going to be incredible parents to this little girl. And I cannot wait to see the amazing family you will become. Love you guys 🙂
