I just love how the holidays bring families together. They remind us how important it is to spend time and make memories with the ones you love…

Amanda reached out to me prior to Thanksgiving and told me that her family was coming in town for the holidays. She really wanted to capture this special time while everyone was together again. She also told me that her sweet momma had stage 4 cancer, so these memories were extra special to them.

Before I even met Amanda, I felt like we’d known each other for years. Her joy and love simply overflowed from her, even through email and text. When we did finally meet, it was as though I was greeting an old friend. And as I got to know the rest of her family, I realized exactly where that joy came from.

These guys were so full of love and laughter throughout their whole session. There wasn’t a minute that went by where someone wasn’t laughing. I simply couldn’t help but give into it and laugh right along with them. You know it’s a good session when your cheeks are hurting the whole time behind your camera.

I enjoyed every second of the time I spent with this beautiful family. They, like the holidays, reminded me what it means to keep your family close. As time goes by, kids grow up, and life gets busy, it can become so difficult to spend quality time with your family. But it truly is the most important thing in the world.

Amanda (and the rest of your sweet family), thank you so much for allowing me a glimpse into your wonderful life. I feel so honored to have met you guys, witnessed your love for each other, and most importantly, to capture these precious memories for you… I hope these photos bring you endless amounts of joy and happiness in the years to come. I’m so glad we were able to make this happen while everyone was reunited for Thanksgiving. Wishing you all a very Happy Holidays! Love you guys!
