It’s been one crazy year. And I’ve had a blast going back through that crazy year to take a look at some of my favorite moments of 2018. From Texas to Hawaii and back home to Texas in on year… As you can imagine, that kind of movement can stir things up a bit. Life has been a bit of a whirlwind these passed 12 months. But I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. The experiences I had, the people I met, the memories I made, and the memories I captured changed my life in so many ways. With everything going on lately, it would have been easy to just keep pushing forward and roll right into the new year. But I’m so glad I took the time to press pause. It feels so amazing to stop and look back at the beauty I’ve witnessed this year. To appreciate the moments I had the honor of capturing.
(If you wanna catch up on previous years, you can find them at the bottom of this post!)
This year took me from destination dream weddings at the Moana Surfrider in Waikiki to gorgeous styled shoots at Loulu Palm, Dillingham Ranch, and Male’ana Gardens. It also took me from the Texas country to a Nebraska farm for stunning engagement sessions. And to Phoenix, Arizona for precious desert sessions and classic styled wedding shoots. I’m blown away by the raw beauty I had the privilege of capturing this year.
I am so thankful for this year. I’m thankful for my job as a wedding photographer. I’m thankful for the memories and moments I got to witness. But most importantly, I’m thankful for the people that came into my life this year. The people that trusted me with their precious memories. The people that are now dear friends who have changed my life in all different ways. I’m so thankful to be able to do what I love, and without those people that would not be possible. I owe it ALL to you guys. I hope you enjoy this look back on 2018!
