The way she looked at him… The way he looked at her… I swear these two were a match made in Heaven.

Kerri and Kevin, are just about as cute as two people can be together. Their entire engagement session was filled with joyous laughter, smiles, and kisses. And most of them were not by my instruction! They radiate happiness when they’re near each other. The love and joy they have found in each other is a rare and precious thing.

Kevin and I go back to college, but I had previously only met Kerri over a Skype call. So not only did I get to finally meet her for the first time at their engagement session, but I gained a sweet, beautiful friend! I’m so thankful for the incredible relationships this job blesses me with!

The Denton Nature Center was absolutely beautiful. And we weren’t the only ones who loved it… Our little buzzing mosquito friends loved it too. Or should I say GIANT buzzing mosquito friends. So needless to say a good portion of the session was spent swatting away and dodging these guys. My new friendship with this sweet bride was requiring a large amount of trust, that’s for sure.

Thankfully, despite the frequent mosquito dances, we managed to make tons of time for sweet kisses, smiles, and cuddles. And I’m so in love with how these photos turned out. I simply can’t get over how adorable these two are together.

Kerri and Kevin, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me the enormous honor of capturing such an important moment in your lives. Your engagement will be a brief and precious time you look back on with love and joy. We all know there will be valleys during a marriage. I hope these photos remind you of your love for each other enough to pull you out of one of those valleys someday. I hope these photos are a blessing to you and your family for generations to come. Your love is so pure and beautiful, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to witness it. I cannot wait to officially celebrate it in May. Love you guys! Now let’s get you two married!!
