I was just a kid when I first met these two. Literally. I think I was about 10 years old. I knew them individually first before they even knew each other. I participated in community theater with Eric. And Ally was one of my older sister’s friends from high school choir. To me, she was always “Wendy’s sweetest friend”.

I’ll never forget being so excited when they met and started dating in college. I knew that they both had hearts of pure gold. And I was pretty sure they were going to be perfect for each other.

I was right. Ally and Eric were a match made in Heaven.

Ally and my sister gotten even closer after high school. And I got to watch as their friendship grew, as well as her relationship with Eric. (Girl talks about an exciting new guy are a must-have in every great friendship).

It’s been over a decade since they first met. A decade of smiles, laughter, tears, and growth. A decade of valleys and mountain tops. A decade of memories. I’m so honored to have known these two for so long that I was able to watch them grow in their relationship with each other.

Now, after a long journey together, they are celebrating one of the biggest milestones of their lives. They’re bringing not one, but TWO precious lives into the world. That’s right. TWINS! These two babies are already so unbelievably loved. It fills my heart with so much joy to witness this miracle taking place.

Ally and Eric, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your journey. Although we haven’t always remained close, I’m so happy that I’ve been able to watch you two grow together in love. You are both two of the sweetest people on the planet, and it makes my heart so happy to see you guys receiving this blessing. You’re going to be incredible parents. I cannot wait to watch your story continue to unfold.
