I can’t say enough good things about these two…. From their engagement session to their wedding to their maternity photos… It’s been one incredible journey.

I first met Avery at church camp as teenagers. Although we weren’t always the closest of friends, I always thought she was just the sweetest soul. I am so thankful that the universe brought us back together. Because I’ve gotten to witness one of the most beautiful love stories I’ve ever seen.

When they got engaged in 2016, I drove out to their family’s land in Forestburg, TX for their engagement session. Driving down the backroads of the Texas country and pulling onto their ranch, I remember thinking how beautiful and peaceful it was out there. Then after spending a couple hours with her and her fiance Shayde, I loved the land even more. I loved it because they loved it.

Their love for each other almost seems rooted in that land. We took pictures under a giant oak tree that stands alone near their house. And a few months later, we took pictures under that same tree when Shayde saw Avery in her wedding dress for the first time. They danced and celebrated their marriage under the stars all night, surrounded by their closest loved ones.

Now, over a year later, we took pictures under that same oak tree… Except this time, Avery and Shayde are about to welcome a sweet baby girl into their world.

Each time I’ve taken a trip out to their place has been for a new celebration. A new milestone. A new exciting chapter in their lives. And each time I go see them, I witness their love for each other all over again. Changing and growing with the land.

Avery and Shayde, thank you. Thank you for letting me take a peek into your beautiful story. And for giving me the honor of capturing some of life’s biggest milestones for you. It’s been such a joy watching your story unfold. Every chapter brings new and exciting changes, and I am so happy for you two.

I can’t help but smile when I see the love that you have for each other. And I can’t wait to see that love grow when you meet your sweet baby girl. She’s the luckiest little one in the world to have parents like you. And of course…. to have a big brother like Benson.
