Lauren and Dawson tied the knot on a beautiful summer day at Royal Lane Baptist church. The entire wedding day was overflowing with joy, as were the bride and groom themselves. They spent the day celebrating and getting ready with their nearest and dearest. Then, once the bride was dressed, she was ushered into the chapel where her sweet brothers performed a gorgeous rendition of “Isn’t She Lovely” as she danced with her father in the aisle. From one precious moment to the next, Lauren and Dawson then exchanged private vows during their First Touch. Let’s just say there were plenty of happy tears shed before the ceremony even began!
The afternoon light spilled into the chapel and songs of praise filled the air as the couple said “I do” in front of all their loved ones. Once everything was official, we celebrated the newlyweds with a stunning golden hour portrait session under the trees. And finally, everyone headed to The Carlisle Room for dinner, dancing, and celebrations. The gorgeous, art deco venue was the perfect setting as Lauren and Dawson danced (and crowd-surfed!) the night away with their friends and family. As usual, Shay with The Art of Weddings deserves all the praise for coordinating this perfect and seamless wedding day for our sweet bride and groom!
Lauren and Dawson, thank you so much for entrusting me to preserve these precious memories for you. From our first meeting, to your lovely Engagement Session, it has been such a joy getting to know you two and capturing this incredible chapter of your love story. I hope these images help you relive your wedding day again and again, for years to come. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. McGee!!
