Karina and Carlos have the absolute sweetest love story…

July 24, 2020 was their wedding day. However, it didn’t quite turn out like they had expected. Like so many others, they were thrown a huge curveball when COVID-19 turned the world upside down. However, they chose to ride the wave and not let it keep them from doing what they originally set out to do that day – get married.

So on July, 24, 2020, they did just that. They vowed to be together forever in a quite church amongst their family and closest friends.

Then exactly one year later on July 24, 2021, they were finally able to celebrate with all of their loved ones in a proper fashion! It was such a special day for so many reasons!

1. It was technically their One Year Anniversary
2. They got to celebrate their marriage with everyone that means something to them
3. They made a BIG announcement….

During cocktail hour, the guests were all given a fortune cookie. A few breathless minutes later, they were all told to open their fortune cookies – in which they read, “Baby Hinz Barrigas Coming February 2022!” THEY’RE PREGNANT!

It was truly one of the most emotional moments I’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing – so joyful, pure and beautiful. It was so amazing that they were able to share that wonderful news in person with all their family and friends in one place – AND while celebrating their marriage and One Year Anniversary!! So much joy and love to be thankful for! (I’m clearly having a difficult time getting over how amazing this day was…)

Karina and Carlos, you two are so precious. I can’t even begin to describe how much joy it brings me to capture these incredible milestones in your life… I feel so blessed and honored to have been a part of your love story.
