Crystal was standing outside with her back to the double doors.

She couldn’t hide the anticipation, which frequently showed itself by spreading a huge smile across her face. Her suite was a beautiful shade of of green, and her hair was pulled back with flowers winding their way throughout. She swayed side to side with her hands locked tight together in front of her. Any minute now, she would turn to face her future wife.

Then she heard the double doors swing open…

A few steps, then a tap on the shoulder. She turned around and there she was.

Samantha was wearing an ivory satin gown with a gorgeous custom-made veil. Her love of vintage 1920’s style shined through beautifully. She looked breathtaking.

Crystal was speechless…. She could hardly believe her eyes. And the only words that she seemed able to get out were “You look so beautiful/stunning/gorgeous” for a solid 10 minutes.

It was the best, most beautiful first look I’ve ever seen. I just sat back and watched as Sam and Crystal smiled, laughed, cried, kissed, hugged, and stared at each other for as long as their hearts desired. It was so amazing to witness the love between them. The excitement of the incredible journey they were about to embark on was overflowing from each of them.

And just as they were anticipating, the rest of their wedding day was magical and so perfect. It was full of happy tears, hugs, family, friends, and of course – dancing. Lots of dancing. Everyone was on their feet and moving their body at the reception! It was a wonderful celebration! Every moment of their wedding day was beautiful. But that First Look easily took the cake…

Samantha and Crystal, I am so blessed to have met you guys. Blessed to witness the love between you. And so blessed to capture it for you. You have no idea what an honor it was for me to help you document this incredible milestone in your lives.
