I can’t even begin to describe how much I love this family…
I first met Sarah (the adorable brunette in the adorable denim skirt) working customer service together at a private airport in Fort Worth, TX. Something just clicked when we met… We bonded fast and became very good friends. Maybe it was the late nights and early mornings when clients wanted to land at 1:00am or take off at 4:00am. Or the slow days when we had nothing to do except chat. Or the hectic days when we needed each other to pull us through. Whatever it was, a friendship was born at that airport that will last our whole lives.
We were young, wild, and slightly reckless; about 20 years old. You know that age… Life seems full of possibility, you’ve got the world at your fingertips, and you’re discovering who you truly are. It’s a great age! But, it can also be tough… There’s tons of change happening as you try to figure out your path in life, who you are, what you want to do, what people expect of you, blah blah blah. It can be quite overwhelming.
So, we chose to have FUN. We chose make every day OURS. To live in the moment and celebrate life. The time we’ve spent together has always been filled with love, laughter, and joy. But it wasn’t me who brought that energy to our relationship… It was Sarah.
I have very rarely seen this girl without a smile on her face. Sarah is bubbly, joyful, energetic, and funny with health little dose of sass 😉 She brightens every room she enters, and her joy is infectious. You cannot help but smile when she’s around.
Once Sarah and I had become friends, I met her family. And it all made sense… I knew exactly where that warm, loving, kind spirit came from.
Her whole family is just so much fun to be around. Sarah’s the spitting image of her momma. Full of love and joy, Kim welcomed me into their home and their family the first time I ever met her. Her dad, Wayne, is the yin to the yang of the family. Funny and chill, he always seems like he’s ready to hit the beach with a surfboard and a Coors in his hand. Sarah’s brother, Brad, is definitely his father’s son, carrying on the relaxation vibes. When Brad married Kristen, she fit right in. Sweet, kind, and joyful, Kristin’s beautiful smile never leaves her face.
Then Brad and Kristin, brought two precious, blonde-haired, blue-eyed babies into this world, and that was the icing on the cake… Now this family is literally overflowing with love and joy. Raegan and Sydney are sweet, funny, and SO adorable.
Sarah, thank you for welcoming me into your sweet family. And thank you for being such a fun, loving, and loyal friend. Our friendship means the world to me, and I can’t wait to experience more of this crazy life together! Kim and Wayne, you have a beautiful family, and you’re relationship with each other and with your kids is an inspiration to us all. It’s so amazing to see Kristin and Brad following in your footsteps! Thank you for giving me the honor of capturing these precious moments for you and your family! I love you guys!
