Old World European styles have always spoken to me. Well… more like screamed at me. There’s something about it that my heart can’t help being drawn to. Unfortunately for me, I live in Dallas, Texas… where old world European is somewhat hard to come by – as you can imagine.

That’s why I was so thrilled when I discovered The Castle at Rockwall. It was like this beautiful, precious gem that I had uncovered. And the best part?? Getting to share it with you now!

Driving through the front gates is like stepping into a real-life fairytale… The castle stands with a sort-of majestic glow to it in the middle of the grounds. Every detail of the building was designed with such beautiful taste and intricacy. And if you try, you can actually picture kings and queens sweeping through the hallways.

I was lucky enough to have an incredible team behind me to help bring this fairytale to life. Shay McElroy with The Art of Weddings was absolutely incredible to work with and oh so sweet! And of course, I couldn’t have pulled it off without the stunning floral designs of Domonie Mattson with Wild Rose Events.

On top of all this, this styled shoot was made extra special because of my beautiful models… When I first chose Caitlin and Marc to be my bride and groom, what I didn’t know was that they had actually just gotten married… a few days before.

Yes you heard me! These two sweethearts had just gone to the courthouse to pronounce their love for one another and make a vow to stand by the other through thick and thin, come what may. However, they weren’t able to have a photographer there to capture the beauty of the day. SO…. we created a little magic of our own!

Caitlin and Marc, you two are the absolute sweetest, and I’m so happy that fate brought us together to create beautiful wedding photos for you to cherish forever. Thank you so much for being the most patient and gracious models on the planet. And congratulations on getting married!! I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
