Surprisingly enough, after spending a few months on the island of Oahu, you begin to feel the need to get off your little rock. So we took a hop, skip, and a jump over to Kauai and visited Waimea Canyon. This little getaway was so refreshing and I was so amazed to see how much Kauai differs from Oahu. The island time is real, and its wonderful. The pace is so slow, and the vibe is so relaxed. The island is alive with so much natural beauty that you just can’t help feeling happy. I’ll be back soon, Kauai, don’t you worry.
